Congratulation-to-Samantha-Charamine

Dear members,

Samantha Chan and Charmaine Fu qualified for the 2nd AEF U21 Dressage Championship Final!

Alongside with the good news on our Senior riders for the Longines Masters of Hong Kong 2020, the HKEF is also delighted to share with you another good news that two of our Junior riders, Samantha Chan and Charmaine Fu qualified for the 2nd Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF) U21 Dressage Championship Final.

Following up the previous announcement on Samantha Chan winning the 2nd AEF U21 Dressage Championship Qualifier in Hong Kong, all 10 qualifiers were completed in different countries in Asia. Chinese Taipei has recently been selected as the host for both the AEF U21 Dressage Championship Final and AEF Young Junior Rider Show Jumping Challenge Final scheduled from 13 – 16 April 2020.

16 finalists including the 10 best riders from qualifiers, 3 best riders from the combined zone ranking lists, the next best rider from the overall ranking list on top of the above riders and 2 riders from the hosting National Federation will gather in Taiwan for the Final on borrowed horses.

In addition to Samantha Chan, winner of the qualifier in Hong Kong who scored the highest among all 16 finalists with 69.108%, we are thrilled to have Charmaine Fu also qualifying to the Final by ranking the top on the overall ranking list after the qualifier winners and 3 riders from the combined zone ranking lists. Attached please find the list of the 16 finalists for your information.

Congratulations to Samantha and Charmaine and we wish them the best of luck at the Championship Finals next year!

Best Regards,
