Bad Weather Arrangements

In general, Visiting Activities provided to schools, organizations and the general public by The Equestrian Federation of Hong Kong, China (EFHKC) remains running, however the outdoor activities will be cancelled or carried out according to the weather conditions. In extremely adverse conditions when the Hong Kong Observatory issues a rainstorm warning or tropical cyclone signal, special arrangements will go into effect. Please refer to the list below for the arrangements under each condition.

The President of Ground Jury will decide if
competitions continue; visiting activities remain running, but the outdoor activities will be cancelled.

 

For safety reasons, EFHKC may suspend certain rides and shows during inclement weather.

If the Hong Kong Observatory has issued the red or black rainstorm warning signal within 2 hours before the event commences, the visit for schools, NGOs or to the public as well as competitions will be cancelled.

 

If the Hong Kong Observatory issues the red or black rainstorm warning signal after the event commences, all activities and competitions will be cancelled. Shuttle buses will be arranged for visiting groups and public visitors to leave from the event venue to the designated destination under safe condition

If the Hong Kong Observatory has issued the typhoon cyclone warning Gale or Storm Signal No.8 or above within 2 hours before the event commences, the visit for schools, NGOs or to the public as well as competitions will be cancelled.

 

If the Hong Kong Observatory issues the typhoon cyclone warning Gale or Storm Signal No.8 or above after the event commences, all activities and competitions will be cancelled. Shuttle buses will be arranged for visiting groups and public visitors to leave from the event venue to the designated destination under safe condition
