Jacqueline Siu awarded in Government’s Honours List/ Thomas Ho on course to qualify for 2020 Tokyo Olympics Eventing Individual/ Fantastic day for Team Hong Kong’s Para Dressage Team at Somma Lombardo 3*

 

Jacqueline Siu awarded in Government’s Honours List

More than 70 athletes were awarded in the HKSAR Government’s 2019 Honours List in recognition of their significant contribution to sports and Hong Kong.

 

On the 22nd Anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR - July 1st, 2019, Jacqueline is one of the athletes who awarded the Medal of Honour under the Government’s Honours List 2019, recognizing her outstanding achievement at the Asian Games 2018 – the first individual Dressage gold medal for Hong Kong Equestrian Sports and her best ever result at the Asian Games. Huge congratulations to Jacqueline!

Thomas Ho on course to qualify for 2020 Tokyo Olympics Eventing Individual

Following the FEI Olympic Eventing Team Qualifier for Group F and G in May, Thomas Ho with his horse Tayberry participated at the CCI4*-S event in Arville, Belgium and achieved MER. As a results, Thomas gained 2 points in the short Eventing event and its’ halfway qualified to the FEI Olympic Individual Eventing. Thomas is now preparing for the next long Eventing event and target to compete in October to secure his place in the FEI Olympic Individual Eventing.

Fantastic day for Team Hong Kong’s Para Dressage Squad at Somma Lombardo 3*

Last week, our Team Hong Kong;s Para Dressage Team members, Natasha Tse, Timothy Tsang and Fleur Schrader participated at the CEPDI3* event at Somma, Italy. Natasha Tse achieved her best personal results with Baxo – achieving 71.488% in the I Team – Grade I – Team test and placed 3rd. Timothy also achieved his personal best percentage with Jockey Club Cethegus M, finishing the III Team – Grade III – Team test with 68.382% and placed 3rd. Last but not least, Fleur on Jockey Club Sarago Raphael completed the III FS – Grade III – Freestyle test with 69.056% and placed 4th.
