Team results of CSIJ-B Bangkok @ Princess Cup 2019 (19 Nov 2019)
The CSIJ-B Bangkok @ Princess Cup 2019 kicked off today with Team Competition (105cm). Our Hong Kong representatives Natasha Lee, Owen Wong and Aden Yeung competed against 9 other teams from 8 countries including Australia, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, India, Iran, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
The Team Competition was conducted in the format of running against the clock without jump-off. Owen was the first to go for Hong Kong team, riding Lek Kla and finished with 4 faults in 73.74 seconds. Natasha and Ngaow Khun Phon finished with 16 faults in 85.35 seconds, while Aden and Charismo 11 finished with 4 faults in 85.57 seconds. Thailand playing on home soil won the Championship, followed by India and Chinese Taipei.
Our Team Coach, Mr. Christian Allderidge was pleased with the riders’ mature performances and commented on the competition, “There’s a very friendly, but also rather competitive atmosphere here at the competition which really puts the pressure on the riders. I’m pleased with how they have all dealt with that.”
Riders completing the Team Competition will be eligible to the CSIJ-B (110cm) tomorrow (20 Nov 2019). With our three Hong Kong riders finishing the course today, they are qualified to the individual competition which is a one round competition running against the clock with jump-off. Fastest time with less penalties will determine the winner among 31 participants.
