Dear members,

HKEF is currently implementing child protection measures to provide children and vulnerable adults with appropriate care while they are taking part in equestrian activities. Over the past few months HKEF has engaged Viva Hong Kong to work with HKEF in implementing a Safeguarding Policy. This is expected to be brought into effect soon.

Being the core members of the local riding community, it is important that you attend the HKEF Online Safeguarding Training on Thursday 17 February 2022 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. via Zoom to understand fully about this essential topic, so that whenever a safeguarding situation arises, we can identify how to respond.

About Viva Hong Kong

Aiming to raise the issue of proactive child protection among local institutions that have children in their care, Viva Hong Kong is working to advise, consult and develop child protection provision to an internationally recognised standard.
