Dear members,
To nurture more stewards for local shows, the HKEF is delighted to share with you that a ten-day HKEF National Steward Trainee Course by Ms. Alice Mak, FEI Level 2 Jumping Judge and FEI Level 3 Jumping Steward, will be held between October and November this year. This course has 2 phases (Phase I from 1 October to 5 November and phase II to be announced in due course) and is now open to all HKEF members who are aged 18 years or above, and in particular those interested in becoming a national steward trainee.
Details of the course are as follows:
Title: HKEF 10 Days National Steward Trainee Course
Date: Phase 1 - Saturday/ Sunday, October & November 2022 (5 days – 1 compulsory online theory session with 4 in-person practical sessions)

Fee: HK$1,000 (Fully refundable on at least 80% attendance of the entire course)
Participant Quota: 8 - 15 (first-come-first-serve basis)
*All attendants to BREC / TMPRS are subject to the Leave Home Safe and Vaccine Pass requirements
Target: (1) HKEF members aged 18 years or above; and
(2) To be physically able to carry out stewarding duties at events
Qualification: Participants with at least 80% attendance of the entire course and a pass at the examinations will be qualified as HKEF National Steward Trainee and will be awarded a Certificate of Completion

Interested HKEF members from your riding schools please fill in the google form at https://forms.gle/AAbgQrVK3hFtLucB6 accompanied by a written equestrian CV that provides details of the acquired level of equestrian experience which should be as Athlete, Trainer, Coach, Official or any other acceptable equestrian background (e.g. riding level or volunteer) on or before Friday 9 September 2022 17:00 (GMT+8). Details of the course will be sent to successful applicants on or before Wednesday 14 September 2022 by email.
