Invitation for Expression of Interest for Hong Kong Cross-Country Training Camp for Youth Riders aged 14 - 22 (23 - 26 July 2023)
This programme is aimed to nurture young equestrian talents and provide new experiences for the Hong Kong and Mainland Riders. The Hong Kong Equestrian Federation (HKEF) with support from Hong Kong Jockey Club and Lo Wu Saddle Club (LWSC), are organizing a summer Cross-Country Training Camp from Sunday to Wednesday, 23 - 26 July 2023 in Hong Kong.

Remark: The training camp will be conducted in English
The following criteria will be taken into account in making the selection of riders:
- Aged 14 to 22 (Year of Birth: 2001-2009)
- Riders under 18 will be required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- A member of HKEF
- Submit jumping results at 100cm or above
- HKSAR passport holder
- Cross-country experience is an attribute
- Full attendance throughout the training programme
The estimated training fee will include the following:
- Training sessions
- Horse hire
- Horse transportation
- Hire of facilities
- Coaching, video sessions, stable management and course walking
The following costs are not included in the above estimated costs.
- Round trip air ticket
- Travel Insurance
- Meals
- Transportation
- Accommodation
*Accompanying persons will have to bear their own costs

- Passport copy
- Mainland Travel Permit copy
- Best Three Jumping Result sheets in 2022-2023
- Two videos of the rider showing jumping at 100cm or above (File Name: Name_Horse Name_Height_Competition Date)
- Letter of support and recommendation from rider’s coach
- Personal Insurance copy
Please note this training camp may alter, cancelled or postponed in the event of bad weather. Cost incurred will not be reimbursed.
Any late submission or submission with the missing document(s) received by HKEF will not be processed.
