Invitation for Expression of Interest as Rider & Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe / Team Manager for National Youth Showjumping Championship 2023 (25-27 Aug 2023)
We are pleased to inform you that the National Youth Showjumping Championship 2023 organised by the Chinese Equestrian Association (CEA) will be held from 25 - 27 August 2023 at Beijing Expo Park, China.

The championships will include two age groups: YOUTH (aged 16 – 21; YOB: 2002 – 2007) and JUNIOR (aged 8 – 15; YOB: 2008 – 2015), each with two categories at different heights.

Please note that these are NOT “borrowed horse” competitions and each rider is required to bring his or her own horse in China. Due to the equine travel restrictions and quarantine requirements, riders will not be able to bring his or her own horses from Hong Kong to the captioned championship. Interested riders have to source their own horses in China.
All entries from Hong Kong, Team and Individual, would need to be submitted to CEA via EFHKC.
We are now looking for expressions of interest from youth and junior riders who meet the following criteria:

- Valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents (China Entry Permit) copy*

- Attached Guardian Consent Form (riders under 18 only)
- Best Three Official Result Sheets in 2022-2023 with Videos Submission (File Name: Rider Name_Horse Name_Height/Level_Competition Date)
- Other Training/ Competition Videos if any;
- Letter of support and recommendation from rider’s current coach;
- CEA Horse Passport for intended horses
- Curriculum Vitae (Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe / Team Manager ONLY)
- Previous experience in team management in local or overseas events (Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe / Team Manager ONLY)
*For members who have submitted these items in previous EOI will not be required to resubmit them unless there are changes.
Any late submission or submission with missing document(s) will not be processed. EFHKC will notify all applied riders by Thursday 17 August.
