Invitation for Expression of Interest as Rider & Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe for National Youth Dressage Championship 2024
We are writing to invite your expression of interest as Rider & Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe for the National Youth Dressage Championship 2024, organized by the Chinese Equestrian Association (CEA). The tentative competition details are as follow:

The championship format is yet to be confirmed by the CEA, however you may find the format of last year’s championship below for your reference.
National Youth Dressage Championship 2023 included two age groups: YOUTH (aged 16 – 21) and JUNIOR (aged 8 – 15).

Please note that this is NOT a “borrowed horse” competitions and each rider is required to bring/ source his or her own horse in Mainland, China. Due to the equine travel restrictions and quarantine requirements, riders will not be able to bring his or her own horses from Hong Kong to the captioned championship.
All entries from Hong Kong, Team and Individual, would need to be submitted to CEA via EFHKC. Official entries opening/ closing dates to be confirmed by the CEA.
We are now looking for expressions of interest from youth and junior riders who meet the following criteria:
Riders must be
- Members of the EFHKC
- Age as above (subject to change by CEA)
- HKSAR Passport holders
- Available for the full period of the Championships in China
Should anyone have interest in the captioned event, please kindly submit the following items via email to [email protected] by the 12th April 2024
- Entry Form *;
- Passport Copy*;
- Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents (China Entry Permit) copy;
- A half-length photo for publicity purpose; (wearing show jacket is preferred)
- Best three official result sheets in last 1 year with videos submission; Videos should be at or close to the level of the competition reference from above (File Name: Rider Name_Horse Name_Test_Competition Date)
- Other Training/ Competition Videos if any;
- Letter of support and recommendation from rider’s current coach;
- CEA Horse Passport for intended horses;
- Curriculum Vitae* (Applicable to Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe only)
- Previous experience in team management in local or overseas events* (Applicable to Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe only)
