Invitation for Expression of Interest as Rider & Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe for National Senior Show Jumping Championship 2024
We are writing to invite your expression of interest as Rider & Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe for the National Show Jumping Championship 2024 organized by the Chinese Equestrian Association (CEA). The competition details are as follow:

For more details, please refer to the attached rules and regulations for the National Youth Show Jumping Championship 2024 provided by the CEA. Please note that the attached document is available in Chinese only. In case of any inconsistencies or ambiguities between different language versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
Please also note that this is NOT a “borrowed horse” competitions and each rider is required to bring/ source his or her own horse in Mainland, China. Due to the equine travel restrictions and quarantine requirements, riders will not be able to bring his or her own horses from Hong Kong to the captioned championship.
All entries from Hong Kong, Team and Individual, would need to be submitted to CEA via EFHKC. Official entries opening/ closing dates to be confirmed by the CEA.
We are now looking for expressions of interest from Senior riders who meet the following criteria:
- Members of the EFHKC
- Meet the age requirements of the competition
- HKSAR Passport holders
- Must have competition results on the horse they are putting forward during the 2023 - 2024 season, the most recent results will take precedent over later results. Results and videos are required at a minimum of 140cm per horse per rider
- If you are putting forward more than one horse, please ensure 3 results for each horse at the required level
- Athletes may be considered on a lease/ borrowed horse, only if the rider has results at the level and the horse they are leasing/ borrowing has results at the level. Video evidence of horse and rider training videos over a course of fences including a related distance and double at the height are required before selection will be made.

- Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents (China Entry Permit) copy;
- A half-length photo for publicity purpose; (wearing show jacket is preferred)
- Best three official result sheets in 2023-2024 at 140cm or above with videos submission (File Name: Rider Name_Horse Name_Height_Competition Date) ;
- Other Training/ Competition Videos if any;
- Letter of support and recommendation from rider’s current coach;
- CEA Horse Passport for intended horses;
- Curriculum Vitae* (Applicable to Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe only)
- Previous experience in team management in local or overseas events* (Applicable to Team Coach/ Chef d’Equipe only)

The deadline of expression of interest for National Show Jumping Championship 2024 is 30 April 2024, 5pm. Late submission will not be considered.
