Patrick and his team members won the first team medal for Hong Kong with a team jumping bronze medal at the 11th Jinan National Games 2009, in which he also took home the individual jumping gold medal with two clear rounds. In 2010, Patrick won a team jumping bronze medal at the 16th Guangzhou Asian Games.

In 2015, Patrick won an individual jumping silver medal at the FEI World Cup Jumping Chinese League. In 2016, riding Al Capone in the FEI World Jumping Chinese League, he finished won the gold medal and became the China league champion.
