The HKEF is pleased to share with you that the 3rd Competition of FEI Jumping World Challenge 2021 (FEI JWC 2021) and the HKEF Local Jumping Competition 2021 organized by HKEF, subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club are now open for entries until Tuesday 14 December 2021 6:00 p.m..
This year, the Category A (1.2 – 1.3m) of the FEI JWC 2021 also serves as the qualification competition for Hong Kong to earn a slot to the FEI Youth Jumping Competition 2022 (FEI YJC 2022), a replacement of the postponed Youth Olympic Games 2022.

Points to note about the FEI JWC 2021 Hong Kong 3rd Competition: Competition
- FEI Youth Jumping Competition Qualification Competition
Category A (1.2 – 1.3m) of the FEI JWC 2021 3rd Competition also serves as the FEI YJC 2022 qualification competition.
Only athletes born between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2007 are eligible to compete at both the FEI YJC Qualification Competition as well as the FEI YJC 2022 in Aachen, Germany from 28 June to 3 July.
- Horse inspection
Horse inspection will be conducted on Friday 17 December 2021 at the Beas River Equestrian Centre Competition Paddock in the afternoon (time TBC). Dr. Lawrence Chan will be our Veterinary Delegate for the FEI JWC 2021 3rd Competition. Any riders who are not able to attend the horse inspection should obtain prior approval.

- Best-presented Award
Best-presented Award will be selected by the Judges and the Veterinarians during the horse inspection. A cash prize of HK$200 will also be granted to the groom as a token of encouragement.

Effective from our last HKEF Local Autumn Dressage Competition on 30 & 31 October 2021, all entries for HKEF shows can be done ONLINE.

- HKJC Vaccination Competition Policy for Horse Shows
All coaches/ riders/ parents/ guardians and officials who participate in any horse shows at BREC MUST comply with the HKJC Pandemic Measures and Vaccination Policy for Horse Shows.
According to the HKJC Vaccination Competition Policy 2021, all coaches/ riders/ parents/ guardians and officials entering BREC must be fully vaccinated and with 14 days clearance.
Riders aged between 12 – 17 must be vaccinated at least 1 dose +7 days clearance; Riders under 12 or any adults with medical exemption from vaccination must provide a negative COVID PCR test that has been taken in the previous 7 days before the competition (i.e. on or after 10 December 2021).
- Registration of Riders and Horses for Local Graded Shows
Effective from 1 September 2021, all riders and horses participating in local graded classes must be registered with the HKEF. For Registration Fees details, please refer to HKEF Registration Fees
- Live Streaming on HKEF Facebook
Facebook Live Streaming will be available at https://www.facebook.com/hkequestrian/ on 18 and 19 December (Sat & Sun) to allow parents and the public to enjoy the competition even outside the competition arena.
- Entry deadline
Entries deadline is 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday 14 December 2021.
