Jacqueline Lai, Patrick Lam and Raena Leung to represent Hong Kong at the CSI5* LONGINES Masters of Hong Kong 2020!
With the year 2019 coming to an end soon, the HKEF is delighted to share with you the first good news for the upcoming year 2020 regarding our Hong Kong representatives at the CSI5* LONGINES Masters of Hong Kong (LMHK)!
Since the inauguration in 2013, the HKEF is extremely thrilled to present you the breakthrough of having 3 Hong Kong riders, namely Jacqueline Lai, Patrick Lam and Raena Leung to compete in front of their home crowd at the LMHK 2020!
Following the demonstration by Jacqueline Siu, our Dressage Individual Gold Medalist at the 2018 Asian Games, and her horse Jockey Club Fuerst on Tour at the LMHK 2019, we are excited to have three out of four Showjumping Team Gold Medalists from the recent FEI Asian Championships and their mounts to compete against the top riders around the world from 14 – 16 February 2020 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong.
Jacqueline Lai has consecutively represented Hong Kong at the LMHK since 2016; Raena Leung has represented Hong Kong at the LMHK in 2013, 2015 and 2019; while this will be the first time for Patrick Lam to compete at the Masters. On top of the Showjumping Team Gold Medal, Raena Leung has also earned the Showjumping Individual Bronze Medal and Patrick Lam has also earned both the Eventing Team and Individual Silver Medals at the recent FEI Asian Championships in Pattaya.
