Dear members,
Following the completion of the HKEF Eventing & General Rules Online Refresher Seminar 2022 – 2023 yesterday, the two sessions of the HKEF Jumping & Dressage Rules Online Refresher Seminar 2022 – 2023 cum 2nd Open Forum on Local Dressage Development were held on 17 August for officials and this afternoon for all HKEF members. Mr. Gerald Kuh and Dr. Danny Tong were the speakers of these two sessions.
Gerry is currently our HKEF Rules Sub-Committee Chair and FEI Level 3 Jumping Judge and Steward, while Danny is our RSC member, HKEF Deputy Senior Dressage Judge and List B Dressage Judge. Both of them have actively involved in the overall review of all HKEF rules.
For the first part of both sessions, major changes on Jumping and Dressage Rules were illustrated by Gerry and Danny respectively. The second half of the sessions was the 2nd Open Forum hosted by Danny, reporting the office’s follow-up work from the previous forum and covering more complex topics on local dressage development such as the training plan for judges and preparation for instructors to become judges.
The HKEF would like to thank Gerry and Danny for their time and effort in preparing for the seminar. We hope all members would find it useful and informative. We look forward to meet with all competitors and officials at the arena!
