Initial Expressions of Interest for the 20th Asian Games, Aichi-Nagoya 2026
The Equestrian Federation of Hong Kong, China is pleased to announce that the 20th Asian Games will be held in Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026. The equestrian event will take place at the JRA Equestrian Park, Tokyo. The Games consist of three disciplines which are Eventing, Dressage, and Jumping.
The competition levels are as follows:
Eventing: Hybrid format of CCI3* Dressage, CCI2*L Cross Country, CCI3* Jumping
Dressage: CDI small tour (Prix St Georges, Intermediate I, Intermediate I Freestyle) OR big tour (Grand Prix, Grand Prix Special, Grand Prix Freestyle)
Jumping: Team competition (heights up to 1.45m), Individual competitions (heights of 1.45-1.50m OR up to 1.55m)
Please note that participants must achieve the qualifying result (Minimum Eligibility Requirements, MER) as a combination between 1 Jan 2025 and 22 Jun 2026, if applicable. Details of the MER are included in the attached document for your easy reference.
