Dear members,

Postponement of FEI Jumping World Challenge 2020 1st & 2nd Competition in December

Owing to the recent development of the COVID-19 in Hong Kong and the precautionary measures conducted by the HKJC at the HKJC riding schools, the FEI Jumping World Challenge 2020 1st & 2nd Competitions scheduled in December, including one at Beas River Equestrian Centre on 5& 6 December (For BREC riders and horses) as well as one at Tuen Mun Public Riding School on 12 & 13December (For all non BREC riders and horses) would need to be postponed.

Recently, we have worked out with HKJC, all riding schools and appointed officials for the below potential new dates for the captioned competition:

Proposed new dates for FEI JWC at BREC: 22 & 23 December 2020 (Tue) & (Wed)

Proposed new dates for FEI JWC at TMPRS: 29 & 30 December 2020 (Tue) & (Wed)

However, we cannot commit on the actual running of the event and it is highly likely that the competitions would need to be cancelled if the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases continues to increase.

Please kindly note that HKEF will only be able to run the captioned competition if:

  1. The situation in Hong Kong improves significantly
  2. Restrictions by HKJC on cross movement between different riding schools are released
  3. There are sufficient entries from the riding schools

Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Best Regards,
