Dear members,

To further promote our sport and to raise the recognition for all professional riding coaches and instructors in Hong Kong, the HKEF has launched the Coach Registration System to all HKEF members for application in 2021. The Coach Registration 2022 – 2023 is now open for application.

To apply for the registration, members will be required to submit an application and evidence that they currently hold a BHS Stage 3 Coach Certificate or a qualification that is equivalent to or above a BHS Stage 3 Coach Certificate. Upon successful registration, riding coaches or instructors’ names and details will be included in the HKEF Registered Coaches List and displayed on our official website. However, The HKEF makes no representation, warranties or guarantees whatsoever, whether express or implied, that the relevant information under the List is accurate, complete or up-to-date. It is important to note that HKEF publishes the list of accredited coaches for members’ future reference only. Members are advised to make inquiries of the individual coach and/or riding school prior to undertaking riding lessons as to the other conditions for riding lessons including as to whether there is adequate insurance in place.

The Coach Registration fee is HK$200 for the period from 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2023. Interested members may download and return the application form together with the payment record/ crossed cheque, cop(ies) of qualification certificate(s) and a passport photo (for soft copy, at least 1MB with high resolution) to the HKEF Secretariat (Address: 8/F, Central Complex Building, Shatin Racecourse, N.T., Hong Kong.) or by email to [email protected].

Coach registration for 2021 – 2022 will expire on 31 August 2022. Existing registered coaches will receive a separate email enclosed with the Coach Registration Renewal & Correspondence Update Form for renewal.

Should there be any enquiries, please feel free to contact us.
