HKEF Senior Inter-school Eventing Challenge 2020

Dear members,

The Hong Kong Equestrian Federation is pleased to invite entries from Hong Kong riders aged 14-18 years for the upcoming HKEF Senior Inter-school Eventing Challenge 2020.

The Senior Inter-School Eventing Challenge is an eventing-based competition for accomplished riders aged 14-18 years. It acknowledges the great progress made by Hong Kong’s young riders and equestrian educators since the first inter-school competition, which was held in the run-up to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

The senior competition allows riders to put their results from any two of the scheduled BREC eventing competitions towards their overall score. The final takes place at the Eventing Horse of the Year Show in March 2020, which is included in the entry fee. A top prize of HK$10,000 awaits the winner, who may use it towards an equestrian training programme of their choosing.

Students wishing to participate in the competition should submit their entries to the HKEF Secretariat on or before Friday 11th October, 2019. A late entry fee applies to entries received after this date. Late entries will close on Friday 29th November, 2019.

To find out more about the HKEF Senior Inter-school Eventing Challenge 2020 and about the various practice/warm-up sessions taking place from November 2019, please visit the HKEF website or email the HKEF Secretariat [email protected].

We look forward to hearing from you!

With very best regards,

Dr. Simon Griffin

Equestrian School Sports Coordinator
