1. What are the differences between the 'Mini Inter-school competitions at LWSC and the 'Warm-up' shows at TMPRS?

 

They are each for riders to practise the competition disciplines and gain some competition experience.

 

 

The ‘Mini’ competitions at LWSC are for Lower Division riders with some competition experience and also for riders who have not competed before.  Riders compete in both dressage and jumping on the same day. (Available dates: Dec 2, 9; Jan 6, 13) as follows:

  • Introductory class: Intro. dressage (no canter) + jumps at 30-40 cm; or
  • Preliminary class: Prelim. dressage + jumps at 50 cm

 

 

The ‘Warm-up’ competitions at TMPRS are for Higher Division riders and Lower Division riders with some prior experience. Dressage and jumping are held on separate days.

  • 23rd November Dressage: Ingestre Preliminary Test 3 (2015) or Ingestre Preliminary Test 8 (2015)
  • 7th and 21st December: Jumping 40-50cm or 60-70cm

 

 

2. Can a rider practise in both 'Mini' competitions at LWSC and 'Warm-up' competitions at TMPRS?

 

Yes, riders can participate in both.

 

 

 

3. Can a rider compete in both Higher and Lower Division for the Final?

 

No.  Please check your age group.

 

 

 

4. How many riders make a school team?

 

A minimum of 3 and maximum of 4 riders make up a team. Team scores are calculated from the top three individual scores in each class (dressage and jumping).

 

 

 

5. What happens if a school does not have enough riders to form a school team?

 

Riders can still represent their school/s to compete as individuals for a chance to win individual rosettes and prizes.
