Invitation for Expression of Interest as Team Coach & Riders for National Showjumping Championship 2026 – Wuxi (23 – 26 Apr 2026)
We are writing to invite your expression of interest to participate in the National Showjumping Championship 2026 organized by the Chinese Equestrian Association (CEA). The tentative competition details are as follow:

For more details, please refer to the rules and regulations for the National Showjumping Championship 2026 published by the CEA. Please note that the attached document is available in Chinese only. In case of any inconsistencies or ambiguities between different language versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
Please also note that this is NOT a “borrowed horse” competition and each rider is required to bring/ source his or her own horse in Mainland, China. Due to the equine travel restrictions and quarantine requirements, riders will not be able to bring his or her own horses from Hong Kong to the captioned championship. Any entries representing Hong Kong, China must be submitted via EFHKC.
We are now looking for expressions of interest from interested riders and coaches who meet the following requirements:
- Rider must be a member of EFHKC
- Rider must hold HKSAR passport
- Rider must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the rules and regulations set forth by the CEA
The following criteria will be taken into account when making selection decisions on the rider-horse combination:
- Rider should possess recent results in 2025-2026 at 140cm or above on the horse (s) they are putting forward (riders are allowed to enter up to 2 horses)
- The most recent results will take precedence
- If lacking competition results at 140cm or above, rider and horse as a combination will need to demonstrate competence at the level of the competition and also provide evidence that the proposed horse (s) are suitable. This should include video of the proposed horse and rider combination ideally in competition, training videos will also be considered. Any training videos must include jumping a course of fences with at least one related distance and double at the competition heights.

- HKSAR passport copy;
- A portrait photo for publicity purpose (wearing show jacket is preferred);
- Best three official result sheets in 2025-2026 at 140cm or above with videos submission (File Name: Rider Name_Horse Name_Height_Competition Date);
- Other Training/ Competition Videos if any;
- CEA Horse Passport for intended horses

The deadline for the expression of interest at National Showjumping Championship 2026 is Monday, 23 March 2026. Any late submission or submission with missing document(s) received by EFHKC Secretariat may not be considered.
