Dear members,

 

With the special permission from the FEI, the FEI Jumping World Challenge 2019 – 3rd Competition (3rd FEI JWC 2019) subvented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), has been rescheduled and completed today 4 Jan 2020 (Sat) at the Beas River Equestrian Centre (BREC).

 

8 riders competed at the event, in which 6 riders took part in Category C (1.0 – 1.1m) and 1 in Category B (1.1 – 1.2m) and A (1.2 – 1.3m) respectively.

 

By combining the penalties from Round 1 and Round 2, Natalie Walker and Quick Money won the first place of Category C with a double clear in 73.39 seconds, while the second place went to Aden Yeung and Carla also with a double clear in 76.12 seconds.

 

Gabby Thomas and Emerald Butterfly completed the Category B course with 4 penalties in 74.37 seconds, while Vincent Capol with Angel 259 finished the Category A competition with 16 penalties in 70.43 seconds.

 

The winner of Best-presented Award belonged to Rock Emperor ridden by Velvet Lung.

Apart from the FEI competition, a total of 3 local classes were held today. 15 out of 23 entries at the Clear Round Jumping Class were awarded for a clear round; Jack Callan and Hope was the winner of the Accumulator with Joker Class; while Vincent Capol and Kingston Jumbo was the winner of the Jumping with Two Phases – Special Class.
