Yu Xuan Su with Diva De Lux heading to the FEI Asian Eventing Championship 2017 in Pattaya, Thailand (Fri-Sun, 8-10 Dec 2017)
The FEI Asian Eventing Championship 2017 organized by the Thailand Equestrian Federation (TEF), South East Asian Equestrian Federation (SEAEF) and the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club will be held between 8th and 10th December, 2017 (Friday – Sunday) at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club in Pattaya, Thailand. All riders coming from Asia Countries will compete against each other for the title of Asian Eventing Champion 2017 and FEI medals for the top three riders and teams.
Our Hong Kong senior Eventing rider Yu Xuan Su with Diva De Lux will debut himself shine at the Championship accompanied by the Chef d’Equipe Ms. Suzanne Baker and the Team Vet Mr. Adrian Farrington. Competitions will be held over three days from 8th to 10th December in the order of Dressage, Cross-country and Jumping. Previously in September, Yu Xuan with Diva De Lux earned the Certificate of Capability at the CCI1* Osberton with a score of 56.7 by a superb jumping clear round and merely 0.8 time faults on cross-country.
The first edition of the FEI Asian Eventing Championship was found in 2012. This Championship is the first ever FEI Regional Eventing Championship to be held in Asia region and serves as another large regional event equivalent to the Asian Games with the same format. It runs every four years in between each Asian Games to ensure the sports development continues and aims to rise Eventing to the top and to the world-class events.
At the FEI Asian Eventing Championship 2013, the Hong Kong senior Eventing rider Annie Ho with her partner Super Combed claimed the individual gold medal with only 1.2 time penalties on a tough cross country and just 1 time penalty in the show jumping phase to finish on a score of 48.2.
