Open for Entries – FEI Jumping World Challenge 2020 1st Competition & HKEF Local Jumping Competitions

The HKEF is pleased to share with you that the 1st Competition of the FEI Jumping World Challenge 2020 and the HKEF Local Jumping Competition organized by HKEF, subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club scheduled on 7 March 2020 (Sat) are now open for entries.

Event details are as follows:

Important Messages

• 50% subsidy on horse transportation

In order to encourage and assist more riders to compete in the Challenge, the HKEF will provide a 50% subsidy on horse transportation for all HKEF members competing at the FEI Jumping World Challenge 2020 classes. Reimbursement for the 50% horse transportation cost will be processed upon receipt of the original invoices to HKEF office on or before 6:00p.m., 20 March 2020 (Friday). Any late submission will not be accepted.

• Horse inspection
  Horse inspection will be conducted on Friday, 6 March 2020 (Friday) at the Beas River Equestrian Centre Competition Paddock at around 4:15PM (TBC).

Dr. Lawrence Chan will be our Veterinary Delegate for the FEI Jumping World Challenge 2020 1^st Competition.

Any riders who are not able to attend the horse inspection should obtain prior approval.

The HKEF is delighted to share with you our trot-up video starring Hong Kong rider Patrick Lam and demonstrating a correct trot-up at horse inspection of FEI event.

• Best-presented Award

Best-presented Awardwill be selected by the Judges and the Veterinarians during the horse inspection. A cash prize of HK$200 will also be granted to the groom as a token of encouragement on competition dates.

• Minimum participation

As stated in the show schedules, ungraded classes may be cancelled if less than five entries are received.
