Invitation of Expression of interest to the Australian Interschool Eventing in April 2019


Dear members,


We are delighted to inform you that The Hong Kong Equestrian Federation (HKEF) are invited by Tintern Grammar to participate at the Australian Interschool Eventing at the Tintern Grammars 19th Annual Horse Trials. The Australian Interschool Eventing will be held from 24 to 29 April 2019 (Wednesday – Monday) at Wandin Park. The programme will include training sessions, evaluating lessons, clinics and competitions.


Tentative Competition Schedule & Details are as follow;

Venue: Wandin Park, Australia

Level: EvA80 (please refer to the attached latest National Eventing Rules from EA)

HKEF would like to send out teams of four (max. 2 teams) to participate at the captioned event. HKEF will decide the number of team(s) depends on the number of expression of interest. For safety issue, overseas competitors are required to ride one level down whilst the captioned event. Requirements are as follow;

1.    Age: Under the age of 18 on the date of the captioned event

2.    Experience on Eventing: At or above 90cm

3.    Must be HKEF member

4.    Riders are required to arrive earlier in advance(earlier than the date set at the tentative schedule) to familiarize with the horses (tbc)

5. Riders are required to train and compete with the leased horses in Australia.

Should you interested to participate at the captioned event, please kindly send us the attached Entry Form will the following documents no later than 19 February 2019, Tuesday 6:00P.M.

1.    Passport Photo (at least 1MB)

2.    Passport Copy

3.    Official results sheets of the Best THREE Eventing Results (Last 12 months)

4.    “Release and Indemnity” Form

It is a great opportunity for riders to compete overseas and also exchanges in riding skills and cultural with riders from different countries/ regions.

Competition related costs will be borne by the HKEF. Don’t miss the chance!

Please be reminded that the week of the captioned event will be also our LONGINES Jumping Horse of the Year Show which will be held on 27 April 2019, Saturday.
