Invitation for expression of interest to be officials for the LONGINES Masters of Hong Kong 2017

Dear all officials,

 

The fifth Longines Masters of Hong Kong (LMHK) will be held from 10 to 12 February 2017 at AsiaWorld Expo by EEM World. It will attract 5000 visitors and showcase the world best riders.

 

The Hong Kong Equestrian Federation (HKEF) has the pleasure to be the co-organizer again of this annual spectacular event which serves as an opportunity to promote the local equestrian sports. This annual spectacular event also offers a chance for Hong Kong officials to interact with officials from around the world. The Federation would like to hereby request for your expression of interest in officiating in the following positions at LMHK 2017:

 

  • Members of Ground Jury
  • Stewards
  • President / Member of Appeal Committee
  • Assistant Course Designer
  • Cantonese Commentator

 

EEM World will entitle each successful official to :

 

  • Daily allowance of 120 Euros (according to the FEI),
  • Transportation subsidy (max 50 euro per day) instead of the hotel room, and
  • Two proper meals a day.

 

Should you have interest in officiating at LMHK 2017, you may apply by completing the attached excel file with your latest officiating record at both local and international shows. You may listed out a maximum of two preferred roles on your applications. Applications will be evaluated based on officials’ experience of and commitment on the local sport during the past year and by our Executive Committee. Shortlisted candidates will be recommended to the show organizer, EEM World. Please note that the final decision and appointment are subject to EEM World.

 

Application should be received by 6:00 p.m. of Friday, 4 November 2016 (Hong Kong Time). Result announcement will be made to all applicants by 30 November this year.
