Please find below the new rule in relation to falls that will be applied for all FEI competitions regarding a rider fall. In the event of a fall we will accept a clearance from any appropriately registered medical practitioner in Hong Kong.
In case of a fall of an Athlete and/or a Horse at any time in the Competition arena, in the practice arena or elsewhere within the grounds of the Event, the Athlete and/or the Horse must be cleared by the Event’s medical service, respectively the Veterinary Delegate, before the Athlete and/or the Horse may be permitted to take part in the next round or Competition at the Event.
l HKEF LOCAL JUMPING CLASSES will be run according to the 2018 version of FEI Jumping Rules which will NOT be affected by the new rules of Article 224.3 in the 2019 version of FEI Jumping Rules.
l In 2017, the FEI reviewed its branding strategy and a new corporate identity was developed. Consequently from 2019 onwards, the name of the series has slightly changed in order to stay in line with the FEI’s new corporate identity. The series will now be referred to as the FEI Jumping World Challenge and no longer the FEI World Jumping Challenge and a dedicated logo has been created.
