Competition results of National Youth Dressage Competition 2020 Yu Shang Carnival by China Equestrian Association (CEA)


Dear all members,

We would like to share with you the good news that Samantha Chan and her horse, Don Le Beau has achieved the 3rd place and earned the “The most dynamic horse-rider combination” Award at the recent National Youth Dressage Competition 2020 – Yu Shang Carnival organized by China Equestrian Association (CEA).

The captioned competition is an online Dressage competition open for mainland Chinese and Hong Kong young and junior riders aged 16-21 and 12-18 respectively. Hong Kong, China has a total of 13 horse-rider combinations participated at the competition with 4 in the young riders group and 9 in the junior riders group.

Competitors were required to perform specific Freestyle dressage test and submitted online. Competition results were determined by a professional judging panel appointed by CEA, namely Gu Bing, Ge Ri Le, Huai Pei Xin, Liu Li Nuo and Liu Zhong as well as public voting via the popular Tik Tok app online.

The top 8 place riders in both young and junior riders group will be awarded prizes and certificates. Among all the riders from Hong Kong, China, Samantha Chan has achieved the 3rd place with an overall score of 70.684% in the young rider group while Sophie Bater with Shiny Day placed 8th in the junior riders group.
