2012  FEI Children’s International Classics Final 2011

The FEI Children’s International Classics Final 2011 was held at Beas River Country Club from 10th to 14th January, 2012.

The 20 competitors who were aged between 12 and 14 years representing 15 National Federations – Brazil, Hong Kong, South Africa, France, Germany, Ecuador, Paraguay, Venezuela, China, Syria, New Zealand, Guatemala, Russia, Mexico and Canada – rode horses belonging to the Hong Kong Jockey Club, many of which are leased to individuals who generously permitted their mounts to take part in this important challenge.

Fourteen-year-old Hong Kong rider Arianna Ladd, riding retrained racehorse Mountain Treasure, finished in second place in the finals competition in 53.11 seconds, and the champion was 13-year-old Sarah Vasconcellos from Brazil who finished the competition in 48.47 seconds.

For the team competition, team Happy Diamond won it by their members, Brazil’s Sarah Vasconcellos, Russia’s Nikita Pomogalova, Venezuela’s Victoria Karm and Hong Kong’s Michelle Li.
